I was on the phone with a coach to prep for a football game. The winner of the game would win a trip to the NJCAA National Championship tournament in Huntsville, Alabama. My whole soul was on fire. Women’s sports are having a transformative moment. The days of male domination of professional athletics are over. While the NFL, MLB, and NBA are still the top in terms of revenue and attention, the WNBA and the NWSL are here to take their well-deserved piece of the action.
